You turn on the lights of your home-based office eager to start another day knowing you are going to make people happy. You check your answering machine for messages from after-hours yesterday. There is a message from an architect seeking a 20-hour a week bookkeeper; her CPA gave her your number. After returning the architect’s call for the requirements for her part-time bookkeeping position and emailing the staffing agreement, it’s time to take a look at new candidate resumes. You open the 10 til 2 proprietary database for a report showing all new applicants in the last 2 days. Knowing that the database is filled with thousands of men and women looking to optimize their work/life balance allows you to be comfortable knowing that you have a candidate for any possible position. It’s a great feeling, knowing that with every placement you make, you are easing the stress of someone’s life.

Last week you mailed the first of your introductory business letters, introducing the 10 til 2 concept to businesses in your territory. I’m so excited about the opportunity!” Email the resumes to the client for review and possible interview selection.
