10 til 2

Questions We Love To Answer About 10 til 2 Business

How do you describe a 10 til 2 business?
Simply put, a 10 til 2 business is a Part-Time Placement Service specializing in placing college-educated professionals into long-term, part-time positions.

How much does a franchise cost?
The franchise fee is $25,000. We researched other franchise opportunities and evaluated the costs involved with documenting a franchise offering and providing all the support you need for success. We came up with the lowest possible price, so that we could help everyone interested in sharing our dream.

What does a franchise owner get for the franchise fee?

  • Your 10 til 2 business will be supported with full training on every system of operation.

  • You will be provided with all systems of operations and the operations manual.

  • Your office will be listed on the 10 til 2 website which will include a listing of all open jobs.

  • You will also benefit from the proprietary database that was created to maintain and manage your clients, candidates, jobs and any contact you have had with them.

  • You will receive an opening inventory of marketing materials including letterhead, envelopes, business cards and recruiting materials.

    Each month you will receive:
    1) Month-end financial packets
    2) Client invoicing services
    3) Payroll services
    4) Sales/marketing assistance
    5) Inclusion in our client and candidate newsletters
    6) Initial client collection efforts

What are the continuing costs?
There is a 5% monthly royalty (based on your gross monthly revenues) plus a 5% service fee (also based on gross monthly revenues) which covers the payroll, billing, and database. The advertising fee is based on a sliding scale and is used to fund co-operative regional and national ad campaigns. See FDD for scale details. There is a local advertising allocation of 1% of advertising gross revenues that is retained by you. This is the minimum average you must spend during each calendar quarter.

What other costs will I incur?
There is a $1,500 technology access fee due upon signing franchise agreement and annually thereafter.

There is a minimum of $5,000 for opening advertising (marketing, branding and recruiting). The marketing fee covers the costs associated with your opening, including media advertising blitz, press release distribution by the public relations firm and all the materials needed to make your opening a success. This fee is paid to third party vendors as incurred over the first three months after signing your franchise agreement.

You are required to purchase business and workers’ comp insurance as outlined in the Franchise Disclosure Document.

Will everyone who wants a franchise be approved?
We want everyone to succeed and make each 10 til 2 business a consistent experience for everyone involved. However, some people have different gifts that might be better suited to another type of business.

"When my daughter was born 16 years ago, I was fortunate to be able to transition to part-time work. Now, companies are more eager to create part-time positions. They understand that so many people – including moms, dads and retirees – have skills and experiences to offer and want more choices in creating a better work/life balance. I’m very excited to have a company which will focus on helping everyone create more options in the workplace."
